i had an appointment today.
no important news was shared, but i am 35 weeks and 3 days!
griffin is head down and in position.
his heart rate was wild... doc's words exactly were "he is revved up in there!" HA!
I was dilated 1/2 a centimeter four weeks ago and we'll see if there has been any more progress next week.
i have, however, been having minor contractions since Sunday.

a friend gave me a recipe that makes griffin and i both really HAPPY!! Buy a roast, stick it in a crock pot, pour a jar of peppercinis on top and a little water to cover meat. Let it cook all afternoon. Shred some meat onto some french bread, cover with cheese (i LOVE swiss) and broil for a few minutes! OK, really? so easy and SOOOOO YUMMY!!!!
i also bought some new slippers. lance says they're "lame" and i agree, but you can't beat $4.98 when there is no selection and you want warm feet. you can't have a baby and not have slippers!
and my newest addiction.... chocolate chocolate chip cookies. this recipe is to DIE for - SERIOUSLY!!! if you are a chocolate lover....this one is for you!
The beef looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe slippers are not lame. I'd say quirky. I like quirky.
The cookies look delish.
Praying for Griffin's delivery!
Lookin' good mama! Glad Griffin is in position and all ready! Yea! TWO new recipes to try...once I start feeling like eating again!
ReplyDeleteLacey has those same slippers. And I have those same feelings about them.
ReplyDeleteSo where is the recipe? Don't go into labor until you send it to the masses!! : )
ReplyDeleteWhat?! It's already time for Griffin?! That went by so fast...well for me anyway! :) You eat all the chocolate cookies you want mama!
ReplyDeleteLove you! Can't wait for the little mans arrival!!
oh my goodness...you are going to have 4 children!!! i'm so happy for you and lance, and i can't wait to see him! and, um, those slippers are ADORABLE!!! seriously. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love the looks of everything in this blog! Allie, you took a great picture of your mama. I like the slippers and can't wait to try the roast recipe. I too am waiting for the cookie recipe, even tho I can't bake cookies well.Griffin is revved up??? That's a tad scary but I know if anyone can handle "revved" up, it's you and Lance. We're anxiously waiting!
