immediately following base camp, we piled into the van and headed to the smith family reunion. about an hour down the road i realized that we forgot griffin's blanket - we tried to give him caleb's and this was his response. doesn't it look like he's thinking, "oh no, really, do i look that stupid?" ;)
this year the reunion was at my parent's house which made it super convenient for our kiddos. don't know if you can tell but we had a couple of down pours... and people would get stuck over on the other side. at this point lance and i were at the house and all our big kids were stuck over by the pool - glorious coincidence.
activities included:
camouflaging yourself
to catch lizards
rides on the gator
(my dad's new toy)
firework watching
lots of games. (this is ticket to ride my absolute favorite board game!)
lots of swimming (watch for a pick of riley swimming... yay!!)
and family!!!
my mom decorated with these adorable centerpieces everywhere.
and, of course, the flowers were beautiful and butterflies were bountiful.
it must have been a blast because riley couldn't even wake up to eat lunch on the way home. anyone counting? that is twice in one week... poor kids needs some rest!
I did a double-take! I had no idea you were related to Makenzie. She was in one of my first cabins ever at the Ranch. Looks like a super fun family reunion! (And YAY for new boardgames, I'm always on the hunt!) :)

Riles getting caught sleeping for the second time..Priceless! Camo Caleb is so funny. The fact that he can be barefoot on rocks. Amazing. Oh, and the cutest/most favorite granddaughter in the world? Yep. that would have to be Allie! Thanks for sharing.
